To promote a diverse range of flora and fauna we will be cutting bays and removing the cuttings.

Byrons Pool

We will be cutting areas of the meadow and removing the cuttings. We will also make a start on clearing back vegetation within the ponds to maintain areas of open water for Amphbians, dragonflies and other pond dwelling creatures.

Bramblefields

We will be cutting the triangle area behind the pond to maintain areas of open grassland. We will also reduce some of the vegetation in the pond to benefit breeding amphibians and other pond dwelling creatures.

Logans Meadow

On the site of the proposed Logan’s Meadow LNR extension we will be cutting back some of the scrub along the river edge to allow emergent vegetation to flourish and to keep the Cam open for navigation. Meet at entrance to Logan’s Meadow LNR.
